Although salvation is a supernatural act of God that cannot be fully comprehended, the Scriptures offer
many insights. Jesus said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John
6:44), but He also encouraged people to turn from sin and turn toward God (repent). Jesus often
“marveled” at the unbelief of people because of their failure to respond.
