Dr. Gonzales

Restoring Human Movement

I smile when I look back on my career so far. I was confident when I graduated from school, but I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Along the way, I was fortunate to learn from other doctors, therapists, and coaches who opened my eyes to other aspects of treatment and rehab. By implementing what I have learned from these individuals, I’ve been able to help more active people regain their life after pain and injury.

Working in the field of sports medicine doesn’t mean I have all the answers, sometimes guiding people in the right direction are all they need. I don’t have to “fix” everyone. Sometimes I just need to know who can help this person better than I.

I want my legacy to be patient education and empowerment.

There’s nothing more rewarding than having a person’s light bulb turn on, and genuinely understand their injury.

Loss of control is what most people struggle with during an injury; the uncertainty and unknowing is worse than the injury itself. This is where I specialize.
