AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award Winner: Elisha Parker
The AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award is Australia’s leading award in acknowledging and supporting the essential role women play in rural and emerging business, industries and communities.
Due to COVID-19 this year our National Winner and Runner Up will be announced via a live virtual National Announcement event on Wednesday, 20 October 2021 at 12:30pm (AEDT). The event is open to the public and it is free to register.
There are seven inspiring 2020 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award State and Territory Winners vying for the National title and over the next seven weeks and we are going to hear their stories.
This week’s podcast first aired in December last year with 2020 AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award QLD Finalist, Elisha Parker.
The website, cattlesales.com.au is Australia's only advertising custom designed site solely for cattle where producers and livestock agents can go to view pre-marketing saleyard cattle, online auction cattle and advertising paddock cattle.
Elisha and her business partner have plans to expand the site further.
Elisha Parker lives in Clermont, around five hours west of Rockhampton where living remotely has tested her resilience and creativity long before the pandemic.
