Episode 16 The importance of education and financial empowerment in a more sustainable future
In last week’s episode, we took a look at some of the upstream factors we could potentially change in society, in order to bring about a positive impact in reduction of unwanted reproductive circumstances that happened down the line.
This week, we take a look at 2 additional factors which, when implemented would also make a positive impact to reproductive choice requiring circumstances, plus empower more Women to be able to liberate themselves from disempowering or abusive circumstances. But beyond that, would also have a positive flow on in terms of remedying climate change related damage, and also have positive implications in terms of global sustainability.
The two factors we’re going to look at being 1) what would happen if we were to educate the approximately 65 million girls globally who don’t currently have access to education and the second is about financial independence. If you add education, not just to Women’s education, (that’s going to have flow on for reproductive choice) but if we were to better financially educate and empower everyone who doesn’t exist in the top 3% making the majority of the world’s wealth right now, that would also have flow on in terms of remedying climate change and living a more sustainable life globally.
If that is something that you’re curious to dive into, this episode is for you.
