167: Harsha Bhogle (Part A)

He is the voice of cricket. But, he is so much more. The beauty about this world wide sensation, is that he is kind, thoughtful and funny. 

From humble beginnings, this shy and unconfident Indian student, has turned into a global icon. He has travelled the world writing and commentating cricket, with stories, relationships and memories to last a life time. He has known Sachin Tendulkar since he was 14-years-old, and commentated the highly emotional lap of honour in his final test match. He had ups and downs with Shane Warne before becoming a colleague and a friend. He has made countless other cricket friends and memories along the way. 

His insights into the craft of commentary and the story about how he got to where he is today, is as good as it gets.
