Episode Notes:
Subtle signs of self-gaslighting:
- Constantly making excuses for harmful behavior of other people.
- Rejecting or repressing your emotions.
- Calling yourself over-sensitive. Your feelings are valid. Take a pause and feel the feelings before you take your next action.
- You blame yourself for things out of your control. You don’t have control over other people. You only have control over your own actions.
- You believe you don’t deserve to be happy because you aren’t worthy. We are all worthy.
- You stay in situations that make you feel unsafe because you don’t trust your intuition and you don’t want to be rude.
- We talk ourselves out of following our hearts.
Remember to honor your feelings how you are feeling in the moment. Stand up for yourself in a way that doesn’t harm the other person but still affirms who you are.
