This week on the PP3 podcast, the fellas go over the NHL Hart trophy race, the dominance of the Avalanche since the trade deadline, a debate about Sam Reinhart's and Zack Hymen's 50-goal seasons, the evolution of the goalie position, and everything you need to know about the VIJHL playoffs.
This week's featured guest is ex Oceanside Generals player and assistant coach Max Creighton; an undersized skillful and gritty forward who had to earn his spot in the league by fighting and throwing his weight around. Max has been a voice that the players of the generals have been able to learn and lean on over the past 4 years of his coaching career and was a major part of the success the organization has found over those years. We talked with Max about all the adjustments he had to make in making the jump to junior hockey, some past teammates, leading the team in points in his 20-year-old year, the famous "45 Pine Gym", and memories of coaching with Dan Lemmon and Reid Coleman.
