BREAKING: Miami Beats Georgia For 4-Star Cornerback Chris Ewald | Miami's Class Of 2025 Is RISING
The Miami Hurricanes have just landed a verbal commitment from four star cornerback Chris Ewald Jr. The Chaminade-Madonna HS standout chose the Hurricanes over the Georgia Bulldogs. UGA made a late push for Ewald and it was reported on Thursday morning that he could be leaning in the Dawgs’ direction. Instead, Miami locks up a verbal pledge from one of the best players in the country. Ewald has decided to stay close to home and remain in South Florida.
Host Alex Donno describes the tense couple of days in anticipation of Ewald’s decision. Donno explains why Ewald is considered a “must get” for Miami in this cycle. He will join former Chaminade teammates Joshisa Trader and Zaquan Patterson at Miami. They will be true freshmen in 2024 before Ewald arrives in 2025. Donno takes a look at how high Miami has just risen in the 247Sports Class of 2025 rankings.
