When a music student opts into your mailing list, there are several things that can happen next:
- They unsubscribe because they don’t see any further value.
- They don’t open or click in your emails because they don’t remember who you are.
- They get introduced to who you are and how you can help them and they start getting hooked.
We want #3 to happen.
We need to keep our new subscribers “warm” right away and start introducing them to who you are an what you are all about. You want to keep your brand top of mind for them right away.
A great way to do this is through an Email Welcome Series.
In this episode, I talk about the importance of having a Welcome Series, what it is, what should be in it, and an example of one of my personal Welcome Series.
In this episode:
1. Why you need to have an Email Welcome Series.
2. What makes a great Welcome Series and what emails you should have in it.
3. Example of one of my Welcome Series and the purpose of each email.
This is an important part of building an audience of target music students. If you build a huge mailing list but they don’t know who you are or what value you bring, how valuable is that list, really?
The Welcome Series can be a great tool to start building super fans and hook your subscribers for life.
