In episode 13, we sit down with sonographer, author, program director, lecturer, past SDMS president and committed volunteer within the occupation of diagnostic medical sonography, Ms. Katie Kuntz M.Ed, RT(R), RDMS, RVT, FSDMS. Katie currently serves as the Vice President at the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). She has been a professor, program director, and clinical coordinator at the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Schoool for Health-Related Sciences, also serving as faculty in 2 other Florida and Wisconsin programs. Join us as we hear Katie tell us her life path to the field of sonography and how her passion for the developing standards in sonography education led to her involvement in CAAHEP and Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRCDMS).
