So in the last episode we talked about creating a theme for the year and I shared what my theme was for 2020 and also what I chose for the last couple of years. Doing this really creates a foundation that gives you focus for the year so if you haven't listened to that episode - number 50. Then please do go back to that one later.
So let's focus on the next building block.
The next idea that can help you to create your year by design, not by default - and this one deserves a lot of attention because if you really focus on this one, it can totally change your world for the better.
And that is: Who do you want to be this year?
So grab a pen and paper or even better, your journal and get thinking about this one as it really is a powerful way to guide you though your day to day life.
Who we are underpins so many areas. It helps us to create the person that we want to be. It provides us with a navigation system that guides how we interact with others. It provides us with a way of being that feels good. It provides us with a focus for our day to day attitudes and behaviours.
This really is powerful stuff. And to help you create your own blueprint of who you want to be, I wanted the share some of the things I have journalled about that is shaping the way I want to be this year:
These are just some examples of who I want to be over the next year and beyond and it feels so good to focus on these qualities in addition to my theme of the year... ... and for me they compliment each other beautifully to build that blueprint for the next 12 months and more.
