Ghostly Haunts: Real Ghosts, Real Stories
Society & Culture:Personal Journals
Built in the late 19th century, the Oshkosh Grand Opera House has hosted many celebrities and other luminaries from Vaudeville, opera, and early theater. Later on, it was converted into a movie theater, but as the years went by, the building was falling into disrepair. A citizen committee formed and succeeded in getting it onto historic registers. The building and theater were restored to beautiful condition and are now utilized regularly for events and concerts. I'm sure the ghosts love it. Check into this podcast for a little ghostly history from the Sawdust City, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and their jewel called the Grand Opera House.
