In this episode, I discuss why black mental health matters from the standpoint of crises, conditions, and trauma we experience as a community to barriers and stigma that prevent us from reaching out to seek treatment. I wish discuss why it is important for men like myself to be involved in the mental health field. I give insight on my experience working with black boys and girls in particular in regards to the struggles I'm hoping to help them with before they reach adulthood.
