A Brain Based Musculoskeletal Approach w/ Adam Wolf, PT, LMT, FAFS
Welcome back to the Movement Underground Radio! This week, we sit down with Physical Therapist Adam Wolf, Owner and Head therapist at The Movement Guild in Chicago, IL. The Movement Guild is Physical Therapy, Health, Wellness and Movement based rehab and training facility in the Chicago area.
Adam specializes in Intergrated Neurology, and has authored his second book, Foundations of Movement: A Brain Based Musculoskeletal Approach. The book is available as a kindle and paperback versions and is currently on sale on Amazon.com.
In this episode, we take a deep dive into some of the topics covered in his new book. Looking at how when paired and understood in sound concepts, a musculoskeletal approach to pain, rehab, and training can be vastly enhanced by comprehending even basic neuroanatomy and applied neuroscience.
Adam is one of the brightest clinicians I know, and anyone who speaks with him on the topic of manual therapy, rehab, and movement, can immediately tell he is on another level altogether. I think any clinician, regardless of degree, certification, or background, can gain a lot of insight not only from this podcast interview, but by the teachings in his new book.
