Care Oncology Clinic- Repurposed drugs for cancer
In this episode we discuss how the Care Oncology Clinic supports cancer patients with integrating repurposed drugs into their treatment regime.
The clinic aims to complement standard treatments with repurposed drugs under the guidance of expert clinicians in order to deliver a safe, evidence based approach. Data is collected in order to improve outcomes for patients with various forms of cancer.
We discuss the drug selection process, how safety and efficacy is monitored, what are the findings so far and future directions of the clinic.
