Welcome everyone to another episode of thr Cowgirl Channel of Canada The Way of the Canadian Cowgirl. We are so excited to share with you this special interview with one very special Canadian Cowgirl Anna Gimblett. Anna grew up in Whitehorse Yukon Canada ! A place I’ve never seen yet and can’t wait to visit someday. At an early age Anna moved to Germany with her family and this is where her fascination and passion with horses began. Still in her early years, Anna found herself back in the Yukon and riding again. Anna’s love of learning grew, and she began competing in the hunter jumper and dressage disciplines. Competing at local shows and then also travelling to Alaska to compete on a higher level. All the while the deep desire to become a horse trainer grew. Anna moved to Alberta and attended the Olds Equine college and studied the Equine Science Western Performance course in 2014-2016. After college, Anna started as an apprentice and worked as an assistant trainer doe Cayley Wilson for 4.5 years, training learning and starting horses. In October 2020 Anna went out on her own and created AK Equine, a personal training facility specializing in correctly starting horses. Passionate and full of life, this young lady will surely be unforgettable in the Canadian Equine Industry.
