Lina Lapelytė is a multi-dimensional artist who captures her creative ideas in many forms. Although she is a composer, sound artist, music performer and performance artist, she explores various forms of performance and examines social issues such as displacement, otherness, aging and gender. In this podcast we discuss her current projects, her creative process, ideas around her cultural identity and how she challenges concepts of engaging with her performers. We are in conversation at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in New York City.
