Key Scripture; Isa 43.2 ; 2 Pet 1.12-13
Resilience is the ability of an object to return to form after it has been bent, stretched or compressed.
Surprises are the new normal, resilience is the new skill.
ABC of building resilience;
1. Adapt better to life changing events
2. Bounce back from hardship and tragedy
3. Cope with turbulent times present and in the future.
Key factors in resilience;
Healthy relationships
Ability to create and execute realistic plans for the future.
Ability to have healthy self confidence.
Find positives in difficult situations.
Challenges of resilience
a. The learning process requires something difficult to happen to us.
b. Choose to overcome the setback. You may lose your focus in a storm. { 2 Kings 4.1-8}
Whatever you may consider as nothing or a ser down, God can use it to make a difference in/for you. {Ruth 4.15-17}
The anointing you honor will serve and cover you in time of storms.
How to develop resilience;
1. Decide to Faith forward.
2. Commit to growth.
3. Recognize the importance of adding value to others.
4. Find strength beyond yourself.
