Sometimes, homes can fall behind on their upkeep and repairs that are needed to maintain the home in a respectable, safe, and livable condition. When this happens, the house may simply need too much work for a seller to make prior to selling their home to the new buyer. In these types of situations, sellers can consider selling their home AS-IS. While it’s possible to list and sell a home AS-IS, there are some key things a seller needs to know before putting their home on the market in AS-IS condition.
