Dr. Nanette Spencer is in the guest seat and is from Columbus, Georgia.
She is a family nurse practitioner and has her doctorate in nursing from Augusta University. Dr. Spencer received her undergraduate degree in nursing from The Unskinkable Albany State University in Albany, Georgia and it was there that she really learned the importance of giving back.
She was in a horrible car accident in 2009 that left her with a traumatic brain injury but despite negative medical reports, she persevered with the mission to pay it forward by giving future patients what nurses gave her.
