A few months ago, I had the pleasure of speaking to Humaira, a volunteer at Qisetna, about the work the organisation does supporting art and preserving the heritage of people in the Syrian Diasphora.
Unfortunately, as you might have guessed, we had a recording issue with the first half of our interview, which made the second half make a lot less sense. I recently spoke to Juan, the founder of Qisetna, about what the organisation does and how it supports people. Today’s episode will therefore first include mine and Juan’s interview, then pick up with a piece of music called ‘A Scottish Candeza’.
