Lynn Cuccaro is a global educator with extensive experience in educational leadership, strategic design and professional learning. Invested in lifelong learning, she holds masters degrees in curriculum and instruction as well as gifted education. As the Founder of The Global Collaborative, Lynn’s passion is partnering with schools and organizations to build sustainable systems that push the possibilities of teaching and learning in the early years. For the last two decades, she has served as a play-based, inquiry advocate working in and with schools across the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Dedicated to reimagining education, Lynn partners with innovative education organizations such as the International Baccalaureate, Toddle, the Center for Advanced Studies in International Education, Sphere International Seminar, Nassau Tract Teacher Center, and the World Forum Foundation. Since 2008, she has collaborated with the International Baccalaureate as a workshop leader, site visitor, consultant and curriculum designer. Most recently she has collaborated with the IB to create a new sample Programme of Inquiry for the PYP Enhancements and has partnered with Toddle as a play-based workshop leader for the virtual Inquiry Educators Summit. In her local community, she serves on the Board of Directors for May River Montessori, the Island Academy school, and the Sandbox Children's Museum.
As envisioned by Lynn, The Global Collaborative is an international collective of passionate educators dedicated to igniting innovation in education. Schools look to us because of our deep, practical expertise earned through our on-the-ground experiences as teachers, district leaders, program coordinators, and directors. Our extensive experience in international education builds on a diverse network of global educators with a passion for sparking and sustaining change, connecting schools, and empowering teaching and learning practices.
