They say it's not the brown girls from New Jersey who become superheroes, but that couldn’t be further from the truth in the MCU! Ms. Marvel has just finished its first season and has officially introduced Kamala Khan to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not only is the show unique in its depiction of cultures that were previously unexplored, but it also serves as a coming-of-age story for those of us who grew up not feeling “normal”. The series does some massive changes to Kamala’s lore but are they for the better? Is Marvel’s 6-episode structure working in the long term? Am I the only one who doesn’t like spicy foods? Some of those questions will be answered in our recap and review of Ms. Marvel S1!
