Louise McMilan shares how her struggles with mental health came in the form of limiting self-belief, lack of self-confidence and spiraling in and out of depression. It impacted both her HR career, friendships and romances. Then life threw her two curveballs in the form of Breast Cancer and appendicitis at the same time, which Louise now says is one of the best things that ever happened to her.
Louise McMilan is a raw and relatable speaker, supporting and inspiring people to join the conversation about mental health and Breast Cancer. By her own admission, Louise has lived with limiting self-belief and lack of self-confidence for most of her life spiralling in and out of depression. It took Louise to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 to help her change how she viewed herself.
