Imagine throwing yourself head first down an 1800m icy track at 150km per hour and barely able to see anything - that's exactly what Jackie Narracott does in the winter sport of Skeleton. Jackie and I chat about what she loves about the sport, the health risks involved, why winter sports deserve more media coverage in Australia, and more.
This interview was recorded in December 2021, a few weeks before Jackie won Australia's first ever World Cup gold medal in a sliding sport, and a month before she won the first ever Australian winter sliding sport Olympic medal, with silver in Beijing.
