THE HABITS & HOME SHOW | Decluttering & Systems for Christian ADHD Moms
Education:Self-Improvement
Let's chat about those pesky little catch-all spots we all seem to have in our homes. You may have just one catch-all spot or you may have several. Don't worry, you don't have to raise your hand or anything, but you know those spots in your home that I'm talking about.
A catch-all spot is anything place that seems to catch it all. It catches the mail, papers from your kid's school, birthday and Christmas cards, and receipts. It may even catch library books that need to be returned or recipe cards you never put away. Catch-all spots are simply designated areas to store items we don't want to or know how to deal with right now. They can also contain tasks we're procrastinating to complete.
I know your catch-all spots probably cause you a lot of frustration so today I'm walking you through how to declutter your catch-all spots with my easy 5-minute method. Also, make sure you stick around to the end as I share a bonus tip for how you can get rid of your catch-all spots for good.
