In my first bi-lingual podcast — on Wines of Spain: Rioja & more — my special guest is Professor José Luis Priego Bermejo of the Complutense University of Madrid. We cover wines of Rioja, Rías Baixas, Toro en Zamora, Jerez, Madrid, and more.
Professor Bermejo not only teaches inorganic chemistry but also is also an expert on wine and food pairing. Interestingly, he is a member of the tasting committee for the Madrid DO (Denominación de Origen) wine region. At the University, he teaches a continuing education course on wines of Madrid.
For this interview, my wonderful sister-in-law Maria helps me with translations. We explore doing a podcast in two languages and I learned valuable lessons for going forward! I hope you enjoy this first effort and hope you come back to NextFlight2Spain for more bilingual conversations as I adapt my approach.

In the meantime, I hope this interesting discussion on "Wines of Spain: Rioja & More" with Professor Bermejo and my sister-in-law María offers fresh ideas for enjoying Spain on your next trip!
