This week’s podcast discusses how radical socialist groups target Christian Businesses, sue them, and force them to go against their values.
Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Emilee Carpenter and Lorie Smith, two business owners that are both fighting court cases that ruled against their religious values and Christian conscious.
Emilee Carpenter is a photographer. When she was asked to photograph a same-sex wedding, she politely declined. She was sued and lost the case with a judicial activist judge. She now faces penalties for violating the New York State law, which includes fines of up to $100,000, a revoked business license, and up to a year in jail.
Lorie Smith is a website designer that creates custom-designed art for her clients. She explained that she has clients “from all walks of life.” Including LGBTQ clients. However, when she was asked to create a custom site for gay marriage, she declined because it went against her religious values… She was sued and has been battling in court for over 7 years.
Shelly and I were impressed with these women with such amazing faith, strength, and courage.
They are fighting a spiritual battle. They need our prayers and support.
I know that anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what these brave Christian business owners have to say.
