Niamh Ní Chonghaile is National Woodlands and Nature Project Lead with Mental Health Ireland. Niamh coordinates Woodlands for Health, a 12 week woodland-based walking programme for adults availing of mental health supports and services offered by Coillte, Get Ireland Walking and Mental Health Ireland. This role also involves supporting and developing other nature-based mental health and well-being programmes and projects across Ireland. Niamh’s background is as an Occupational Therapist and outdoor Yoga Teacher. She is from West Cork, an enthusiastic sea swimmer and hill walker, and is currently studying Environmental Psychology at Maynooth University.
