The paranormal comedy podcast where we probe possibly the Most Haunted area of London’s West End (see what we did there). Theatre Royal aka Drury Lane Theatre aka Drury Lane is home to multiple spirits including 1700’s natural-style actor Charles Macklin who murdered/manslaughtered fellow actor Thomas Hallam following an argument about a wig. Is Charles being punished via being forced to relive his crime? But it’s not just Charles. Joseph Grimaldi was an actor, dancer and comedian who became possibly the most famous clown. Joey too would end up at Drury Lane. So too would Victorian era comedian Dan Leno (who had an interesting method to cover the smell of his butt produce) and 1800’s actor Charles Kean. But none would be as disturbing as the secret of Drury Lane, the Man in Grey. On the note of ghosts, has it ever occurred to you that a ghost could achieve a lot more in afterlife if they had their head severed? It turns out that we aren’t the first folks to give this theatre a thorough probing because the United Kingdom’s Most Wanted got there first. But was there a hidden room with a hidden secret that could solve the mystery paranormal energy at this theatre? All that and more on this week’s file.
