Living With The Yawanawa Indigenous Tribe with Greg Lambert - Soul Revolution Podcast 01
This was such a fascinating podcast! ๐ It is an absolute must-listen...
Greg has lived with the Brazilian Yawanawa for over 3 years. This is a small indigenous tribe who live in a community village deep within the amazon rainforest.
They are greatly connected to nature and still honour and practice their ancient traditions passed down from countless generations.
On the podcast, Greg discussed how the tribe inspired James Cameron's infamous Avatar Movies, how he ended up living and traveling the world with the tribe, and the story of a tragic event that almost wiped the tribe out in the 1950s.
Greg shares incredible stories about their culture, wisdom, and the differences between their lives and our western lives. The conversation gives you a real insight into what we might be missing in the western world that will light a spark inside you.
The Yawanawa will be at our festival in June with Ronna, the tribe leader's son, Greg, and a few other members. They will be sharing their ancient ceremonies, practices, and traditions as well as performing their music live on the main stage. We are honoured to have them with us.
Watch out for our interview with Ronna which we will release soon as well as some music we recorded during our time with them.
