In today's episode, we talk about Magic's biggest format, and the middle section of the format's timeline - from the moment that Wizards picked it up and started calling it by its new name, Commander. This is loosely a three parter, and we will have episodes on Elder Dragon Highlander as well as "The year of Commander" that never ended eventually, but for now, we see how the format planted its roots and began to blossom.
A Dig Through Time is a Magic: the Gathering History podcast that talks about everything you might not know about your favorite game. There's more to Magic than just playing the game, and we want to show off everything else from big changes to personalities and explaining in-jokes from thirty years ago that you probably weren't around for.
Your hosts are Darren Magnotti aka ServoToken, a budget-deck expert who writes for ChannelFireball.com and operates PlayingMTG.com; and Adam Bowman aka Scuffle D.Lux, an MTG V-Tuber gambler demon with a love for Limited, Streaming, and Organizing Tournaments.
