Sako Dekirmednjian began his career as a promoter, building relationships and bringing people out to venues across Toronto. Then he made the jump that many promoters dream of, but few actually do, club ownership.
Sako now owns and operates several clubs across Toronto and the United States with his business partners. And while he is in the process of opening his most ambitious venue yet, he sees the way that demographics, economics and politics are changing how, and even if people choose to take a night out.
In this episode Trivelle and Sako discuss how night life has changed, trying to compete with Miami and Las Vegas, and what it's like to raise a family while working in night life.
