Marissa Williams-Pohlman will make history in Paris, where she'll become the first female Indigenous Australian Olympic boxer - it's a significant achievement, given that men have made boxing the most represented sport at the Olympics by Indigenous people.
In this chat, I ask Marissa about how she reacted to qualifying for the team, how the training is tracking, and why amateur athletes like herself value sponsors so much in order to help offset the sacrifices they make.
A full chat with Marissa about her journey will be available closer to the start of the Olympics.
