Dr Zain Kapasi
Zain is a GP Partner and Trainer in a practice in East Lothian. He is an enthusiastic practitioner of lifestyle medicine, is currently doing his diploma, and is part of the British Lifestyle Medicine Community. He has a YouTube channel and a series of publications where he shares information and practical approaches to health and wellbeing (see resource section for links to these).
Zain has used creativity throughout his life as a way to find joy, reframe his thinking in challenging times, and to enhance his role as a GP and Trainer.
Dr Elaine Taylor
Elaine is a GP in Lothian. She is an Associate Adviser with NES, as Module Development lead for PBSGL and lead for the Whole Story Podcast series.
Elaine is passionate about professional development and has held roles in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at both local and national levels with the RCGP and NES. She has a decade of experience as lead for Clinical Communication at Glasgow Medical School. She is an International Coaching Federation globally accredited Coach. She has a Masters in Clinical Education, whose research focus was professional identity development.
