To truly get the to the heart of the child, you have to connect.  Connection Before Correction is the first in a ten-part series of what I've learned over 23 years of being a girl mom. 

Being a mom is one of the absolute best AND hardest jobs on the planet. Before you get the job, there are all these ideas about what it's like, what you want to do. But when reality hits, it's not at all what you had in mind. And there's no manual for what to do. That's where I come in. My goal is to share some of my experiences, even some tips and tricks, that will help you navigate the complex job of Mom.
