2016 Men of Christ Conference: Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme

Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme of Maiduguri, Nigeria was a guest speaker at the 2016 Men of Christ conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bishop Doeme spoke of the horrific persecution the people of his diocese face at the hands of Boko Haram – an Islamist terrorist group now allied with ISIS. Despite mass death, destruction and displacement, however, he explained that the faith of Catholics there has never been stronger. His Excellency also recounts the vision of Christ he had in late 2014 in which Our Lord told him that the Rosary is the weapon that will defeat Boko Haram.
