Explosive discussion by Paul Preston about the establishmentRepublican’s attempt to destroy the party in an effort to prevent Donald Trump and Ted Cruz from winning the Republican nomination and insure a HillaryClinton victory in 2016.  Paul explains the ‘Priebus Principal’ on how to destroy the Republican Party’s presidential candidates through the “circular firing squad’.  You get as many candidates to run for president as possible and you set up as many debates as you can so you can overexpose and dilute their message. Message dilution with a large number of candidates confuses the electorate with who’s message is really who’s message.  Over exposure lends to candidate fatigue and anger as each candidate attacks the other.  Following the 2012 election Paul used the circular firing squad to explain the defeat of Mitt Romney.  Romney who was the worst of the candidates to run against Obama won the nomination because he was the least disliked. Paul explains why Donald Trump understands the Priebus Principal and how are people now seeing the attempts to destroy both Cruz and Trump.    Paul plays a portion of  Fox News Sean Hannity’s epic 2016 CPAC speech in which Sean calls for party unity.
