Chris and Reggie's Cosmic Treadmill
Leisure:Hobbies
Reading a comic book... then discussing it on the air, how hard could that be?
Well, Chris (@acecomics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) found out the first couple of times they tried recording this... without anything resembling a script or shownotes! Fortunately, gentle listener... that's not the version you're going to be (hopefully) downloading today.
In this, the VERY FIRST episode of the Cosmic Treadmill, the guys discuss the first appearance of DC Comics' first post-Crisis Superhero (or is he?) Booster Gold, created by Chris' very good friend Dan Jurgens (I hear they once took a picture together... just ask Chris, he'll tell ya!).
It's a fun-filled half-hour of 80's excess... fashion... pop-culture... and horrible impressions of cultural icons Yakov Smirnoff and Balki Bartokomous. Also, Booster Gold's in there somewhere! Listen in and see how far we've (hopefully) come!
