The Irish man Ibrahim Halawa who spent more than four years in prison in Egypt has been telling MEPs in the European Parliament about his experiences. Last night Mr Halawa told MEPs what it was like to be incarcerated in Cairo. The Dubliner was brought out by the Sinn Fein MEP Lynn Boylan who worked to get a resolution calling for his release through the European Parliament in 2015. Ibrahim Halawa says he will never forget his time behind bars.
