In an official Washington said to be bereft of bipartisanship, there’s a prominent exception. Many House Democrats and Republicans seem to be firmly in agreement that nothing should come of one of the most potentially explosive Capitol Hill scandals in memory.

But where Mr. Roziak has exposed one ominous facet of this story after another, the Capitol Police and FBI seem determined to bury, rather than prosecute, numerous criminal and possibly counter-intelligence charges.
Speaker Paul Ryan has been unwilling to allow hearings into the damage done by the three Awan brothers and their associates. As the leadership race to replace him gets underway, any candidate who agrees should be considered disqualified.
