It is claimed the Irish Government could do more to address the country's reputation as a "tax haven".
The call from a Dublin MEP, comes after a new academic report claimed Ireland was the biggest "tax haven" in the world used by multi-nationals to shelter profits.
The study was carried out by economists from the United States and Denmark.
The Department of Finance has labelled the findings "overly simplistic".
