The British Prime Minister Theresa May is chairing crucial talks on Brexit in her country home of Chequers today.
She’s expected to face strong opposition from six Eurosceptic cabinet ministers as she tries to push through new plans for a “soft Brexit”.
The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says the issues related to Ireland including the border question remain high on the agenda of the European Parliament and other EU member states.
