Lynn Pelletier and Malina Fagan are award-winning documentarians from the Big Island of Hawaii whose recent short film called “Reefs At Risk” explores the harmful effects some sunscreen chemicals have on coral reefs and marine life. Their film has been seen by almost half a million people and helped put pressure on legislators in Hawaii to ban sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate from being sold in the state.
