The European Parliament has given its support to a scheme aimed at supporting young people to volunteer across Europe.
The European Solidarity Corp sees people aged between eighteen and thirty volunteer to work in areas such as the environment, education and the integration of migrants.
Support is offered to those taking part in the scheme, while MEPs insisted a clear distinction is made between volunteering and job placement.
