A new trade deal between the EU and Japan will yield great opportunities for Ireland.
That’s according to the Fine Gael MEP Sean Kelly. The European Parliament this week endorsed a new trade agreement between the EU and Japan. It’s the largest bilateral trade agreement ever negotiated by the EU.
The deal will make it easier for European companies to export goods to Japan. And the European Parliament says the meat, dairy and spirts industries will be among the biggest winners of the deal.
Sean Kelly say Ireland could benefit significantly from it.
