Bill Mueller returns to the mound to continue our conversation from last week. In this episode, we talk about coaching hitters in the Big Leagues, the challenges of developing hitters in the minor leagues, and the challenge some coaches have in developing Big League hitters having never played there themselves.
Many know Bill as an instrumental piece of the notorious 2004 Boston Red Sox club that brought the city its first World Series Championship in 86 years. Since his retirement in 2006, Mueller has worked as Special Assistant to the GM, scout, and hitting coach for the Dodgers, Cubs and Cardinals.
