What is the image of God, and what does it mean to be made in that image? As Christians we know that God is the Author and Creator of all life and that his plans are perfect even if they look flawed to the human eye. And yet, we see people who are born with deformities or disabilities—that can sometimes cause incredible pain for those inflicted with them. In those moments we we’re left wondering, are birth defects part of God’s plan or are they a result of nature?
