Just found this channel but it’s excellent! Love the depth of research, good story telling and great narration. And crime in parks? Such an interesting niche area of crime stories to explore. Might make me a little paranoid to go for a bush walk now though!

All speculation. The only reason it went that far was because of all the money her parents had and threw at the case. Saying her parents unwavering search is only because they could afford it. ALL parents would have done the same.

The scary thing is what happens in the US. It happens everywhere. We seem to think people will change and they rarely do. People are capable of changing but change is really hard, And most people really deep down don’t think they need to change much. The rest of us underestimate the Herculean effort of changing a damaged psyche. I mean the dude actually blamed his parents for this. He said the pressure of them being affluent made him do it 🙄

This is totally unrelated but I have been to the big island four times in the last year to catch a kilauea eruption... and all four times it has stopped the day I get there. 🤷♀️ Going to try again soon.
We all need to have a discussion about what ”reasonable doubt” is. It is very reasonable to believe a man who has photos of two dead women that were killed in the same place 2 weeks apart, which so happens to be his favorite place to take photos and he happens to know both of them and had been trying to convince both of them to go off to a private location to be photographed is the killer. We don’t even have to go into his history. Who else could have done it: me?
