Here’s an idea, what if Yokuda sank because it was ready for the Kalpa to end. And that the Left-handed Elves actually know when the world was supposed to end. Because it’s theorized that Yokuda is from a previous cycle. So Yokuda sank because they were ready. But when Alduin was thrown through time, Yokuda sank, and the Redguards had to flee to Hammerfell. Just an idea.
